I am originally from Long Island and have lived in the Boston area all of my adult life. My introduction to jewelry design began with the search for a signature necklace to hide a scar left from skin cancer; impatience led me to create my own.
In 2008, looking to gain the skills necessary to fabricate my own findings and accents, I enrolled in my first metalsmithing class at Metalwerx in Waltham, MA. Many of my pieces have a hammered texture. The accents of a single pearl or gemstone remind one of the moon reflecting on the water at night and the gold accents of the sun's afternoon reflection.
